Chandani

Chandani caught the "belly" bug about 15 years ago at a family friend’s birthday party in Port Orchard, Washington. She immediately got in touch with a local instructor and began dancing every chance she got.

Moving back up to North Pole, Alaska, she decided to take a class from Zara to brush up on her dancing and learn some new things. She had friends out on Eielson AFB who wanted her to teach them the beautiful dance and now enjoys teaching as well as performing.

She is also teaching Middle Eastern Dance at North Pole Elementary for the after school program. She feels that teaching the young girls will help build self esteem and self confidence and is very rewarding. She is very proud of her young students!
